Terms & Conditions

These terms are the standard terms and conditions that apply to the booking of any room provided by Rodonas Apartments (hereinafter "the Company"), together with the provision of any services (hereinafter referred to as "the Services") offered and used by the visitors. These Terms set out your legal rights and obligations, our legal rights and responsibilities, and certain basic information that we are required by law to provide to Consumers.

1. DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATION

1.1 Definitions

In these Terms, the following expressions have the following meanings:

– Business: refers to any business, trade, craft or profession carried on by you or any other person/organisation.
– Conditions: means these terms and conditions as amended from time to time.
– Company/we/we/our: refers to Rodonas Apartments
– Consumer: means an individual customer or Visitor who receives Services for personal use and for purposes wholly or mainly outside the purposes of any Business.
– Hotel: refers to Rodonas Apartments, its facilities and any other type of accommodation offered by the hotel.
– Late Cancellation Charge: means the charge applicable to late cancellations as set out in section 4.4.
– Price list: means the hotel's standard price list.
– Prices: means the prices paid for room accommodation and other Services provided by the Company.
– Regulations: means the relevant consumer protection regulations in force.
– Services: means the provision of accommodation in rooms at the Hotel and any other facilities, services and items offered by the Company.
– Property: refers to Rodonas Apartments located in Chios.

1.2 Interpretation

In these conditions:
1.2.1 A reference to a clause is a reference to a clause of these Terms.
1.2.2 A reference to a "party" refers to the parties to the Agreement and includes that party's personal representatives, successors and permitted assigns.
1.2.3 A reference to a "person" includes a natural person, body corporate or unincorporated body (whether or not having separate legal personality) and that person's personal representatives, successors and permitted assigns.
1.2.4 A reference to "company" includes any company, corporation or other body corporate, wherever incorporated or established.
1.2.5 Words in the singular include the plural and vice versa.
1.2.6 Any words following “include”, “includes”, “include”, “in particular” or any similar words and expressions shall be construed as explanatory only and shall not limit the meaning of any word, phrase, term, definition or description which precedes these words.
1.2.7 A reference to "written" or "written" includes any method of reproducing words in legible and intransitive form.
1.2.8 A reference to legislation is a reference to that legislation as amended, extended, re-enacted or consolidated from time to time and includes all secondary legislation made from time to time under that legislation.

2. RESERVATIONS

2.1 All bookings will be governed by these Terms. Guests may reserve a room or other Services in advance through the Estate's website, by phone or in person.

2.2 When making a booking, guests must provide their identification details, including but not limited to name, address, contact telephone number and email address.

2.3 Payment details must be provided at the time of booking. The Company will obtain credit/debit card details, which must be valid beyond the date of the intended stay and guests authorize the use of this card for any payments due. Payment will be collected in accordance with the terms set out in paragraph 3 below.

2.4 A reservation request constitutes an offer to purchase the Services. The Company will confirm the booking and provide a booking report, creating a binding contract between the Guest and the Company.

2.5 Guests may request changes to their booking prior to arrival, subject to the cancellation provisions in paragraph 4 below. The Company will make reasonable efforts to accommodate these changes, but cannot guarantee availability.

2.6 Guests can book on arrival, subject to availability. If the requested room or services are available, the Company will accept the reservation.

2.7 Additional nights can be requested during the stay. The Company will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the request and, if accepted, will enter into a binding contract between the Visitor and the Company.

3. PAYMENT

3.1 Prices, including any promotional prices or special offers, will be made available on the hotel's website, reception or through other communication channels. All prices shown in the Price List include VAT.

3.2 Prices are for room accommodation and include all basic amenities provided by the hotel, unless otherwise stated. Additional charges may apply for other Services and applicable Rates will be provided upon request.

3.3 Unless otherwise agreed, full payment must be made at check-out. The Company will provide an invoice for all amounts due and the Guest must pay the invoice in full.

3.4 Promotional rates may require full payment at the time of booking. Additional charges incurred during the stay will be invoiced separately and must be paid as required.

3.5 The Company may amend the Prices without prior notice, but any increase in Price after booking will not apply to the existing booking.

3.6 Payments for Services may be made by credit/debit card, cash or bank transfer.

3.7 Full payment is required for any booking and refunds will only be made as set out in section 4 or as required by consumer protection legislation.

4. CANCELLATIONS

4.1 Reservations may be canceled free of charge if advance notice is given prior to the earliest possible check-in.
In such cases, the Company will provide a full refund of any advance payment.

4.2 Failure to provide advance notice of cancellation within the specified timeframes will result in a late cancellation charge as described in section 4.4.

4.3 The Company may cancel a booking in the following cases:
– Non-availability of accommodation, staff or resources necessary to provide the room, in which case the Guest will be offered alternative accommodation or a full refund.
– Non-arrival within the specified time on the scheduled arrival date without prior notice, resulting in room reassignment and a late cancellation fee.

4.4 A "Late Cancellation Charge" is a charge representing the net financial loss incurred as a result of a cancellation. The charge will be limited to the lower of the full price of the reservation or one night's stay at the specified Rate. The Company may deduct the late cancellation fee from any advance payment made by the Guest.

5. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

5.1 The earliest check-in time is indicated at each location.

5.2 Guests may be asked to provide proof of identification upon check-in, such as a passport or driver's license.

5.3 The latest departure time listed at each location.

5.4 It is possible to check out late with the Company, based on availability. An hourly charge will apply for additional time beyond the standard check-out time.

RULES

6.1 Guests must behave in a reasonable and responsible manner on hotel property, avoiding any disturbance to other guests. Failure to comply may result in removal from the hotel and payment of all outstanding amounts.

6.2 Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises. If this rule is violated, a charge may apply to clean and restore rooms to a smoke-free environment.

6.3 Unless previously agreed upon for pet-friendly rooms, guests must not bring animals or pets onto the hotel premises, with the exception of assistance or guide dogs.

6.4 Guests must not bring hazardous materials, tamper with fire alarms or emergency equipment, store items that may cause damage or endanger health and safety, remove or damage hotel property, download illegal or obscene material using hotel technology or cause undue annoyance to other guests or staff.

6.5 Guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.

6.6 Guests will be responsible for any damage caused to hotel property during their stay.

6.7 The above rules apply to the guest's party and the guests they invite, and the Guest will be responsible for any violations.

6.8 In case of damage or loss caused by the Guest or his party, the Guest making the reservation will be held responsible and will be required to reimburse the expenses incurred.

6.9 The Company reserves the right to take necessary action in response to violations of these rules, including canceling the reservation, restricting access to the hotel, removing items from the room, withholding payment, refusing future reservations or refusal of entry/residence.

6.10 The Company shall not be liable for refunds or compensation in such cases.

6.11 The Company reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings made by persons who have previously breached these Terms.

7. COMPLETENESS

7.1 Maximum capacity is stated at each location. Guests must not exceed the maximum capacity provided in their room.

7.2 Children under the age of 16 can only stay if accompanied by a parent or guardian staying at the hotel.

7.3 The Company reserves the right to change the room allocation during the stay if necessary.

8. FOOD AND BEVERAGES

8.1 Prices for accommodation in rooms do not include food and drink unless otherwise stated. Additional charges will apply for these services.

8.2 Guests with special dietary requirements should notify the hotel in advance and the Company will make reasonable efforts to accommodate them.

9. CAR PARKING

9.1 Car parking spaces are not guaranteed, but guests may use available spaces on a first-come, first-served basis. Vehicle registration number must be provided upon arrival.

9.2 Disabled parking spaces are not guaranteed.

9.3 The Company does not guarantee protection against theft or damage caused by third parties. Guests accept risk and responsibility for their own vehicles and property.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

10.1 The Company shall be liable for foreseeable loss or damage arising from breach of these Terms or negligence. The Company shall not be liable for any unforeseen loss or damage.

10.2 Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit the Company's liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited by law.

10.3 The Company shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of revenue, loss of anticipated savings or any other indirect or consequential loss.

11. DATA PROTECTION

11.1 The Company will process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations. For more information, see the hotel's Privacy Policy.

12. GENERAL

12.1 The Company may assign, subcontract or transfer any of its rights or obligations under these Terms to any third party at its discretion.

12.2 These Terms and any documents referred to in them constitute the entire agreement and understanding between the Visitor and the Company. Any prior agreements, arrangements or understandings between the parties regarding the Services are superseded.

12.3 If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

12.4 No failure or delay by the Company to exercise any right or remedy provided by these Terms or by law shall constitute a waiver of that or any other right or remedy, nor prevent or limit the further exercise of that or any other right or remedy right or remedy.

12.5 These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Hotel is located. The courts of that jurisdiction shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms.

By making a reservation and accepting these Terms, the Guest confirms that they have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.

13. REGULATIONS

13.1 The Company is required by applicable consumer protection regulations to provide certain information to consumers prior to entering into a contract. This information is included in these Terms and will be considered part of the contract between the Visitor and the Company.

14. COMPLAINTS

14.1 The Company welcomes feedback from visitors and aims to ensure a positive experience. If the Guest has any reason to complain about the Services or any other aspect of their stay, they should raise the matter with the relevant General Manager of the Hotel. Contact details can be found on the hotel website or provided upon request.

15. FORCE MAJEURE

15.1 The Company shall not be in breach of these Terms or be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under these Terms if such delay or failure is caused by events, circumstances or causes beyond its reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, power failure, Internet service provider failure, fire, flood, storm, earthquake, acts of terrorism or any other events beyond the Company's control.

16. NO COMMENT

16.1 If the Company does not enforce any of its rights or remedies under these Terms, it does not mean that it has waived those rights or remedies. Any waiver must be in writing and will not automatically waive any future default by the Visitor.

17. WITHDRAWAL

17.1 If any provision of these Terms is held to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. The illegal, invalid or unenforceable provision will be severed from these Terms.

18. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

18.1 These Terms, any contract between the Guest and the Company and the relationship between the parties (whether contractual or otherwise) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Hotel is located.

18.2 Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of such jurisdiction.

19. UPDATES TO THESE TERMS

19.1 The Company may make changes to these Terms from time to time without prior notice. The updated Terms will be effective after they are posted on the Hotel's website or other means of communication.

20. HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

20.1 The Company will collect, process and use personal information provided by the Visitor in accordance with its privacy policy. The privacy policy explains what personal information is collected, how and why it is collected, stored, used and shared, the rights of the Visitor in relation to their personal information and how to contact the Company or supervisory authorities with any questions or complaints. A copy of the privacy policy can be found on the hotel's website or obtained upon request.
